Naval Academy Special Olympics - Track and Field

  • US Naval Academy 121 Blake Road Annapolis, MD, 21402 United States (map)

We are all very excited to co-host the 52nd Annual Anne Arundel County Special Olympics Spring Games at the US Naval Academy. The Annapolis Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce) would not be able to put this event on without the help of our community volunteers.

All volunteers will be responsible for timing, staging, scoring, and awards.

If you would like to volunteer with us, please indicate which shift you are available for, Sunday morning 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or Sunday afternoon 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m..

Breakfast refreshments and lunch are provided for all volunteers.

Dress comfortably and pay attention to the weather. You may also want to dress in layers as the field is on the water and can be colder than expected during the morning hours.

Access to the Naval Academy - You will need a government issued ID to enter the Naval Academy. Look for the Volunteer Check-in table upon arrival Ingram Field.

Parking - Due to the limited parking on campus, volunteers are asked to park outside of the Naval Academy and walk on through Gate 1 or gate 4. Free parking is available along King George Street and at the Bladen Street Garage located near St. Johns College. A map will be sent closer to the event.
